| The Mont Saint Michel |
| The Mont Saint-Michel is one of the most important religious monuments of the European Middle Ages. This Benedictine-Abbey has been built in devotion to the archangel St.Michel, on a 80 meter high granite rock, which is encircled by the sea (or by the sands of the bay, when the tide is at the ebb).
