La Goëlette' is situated near to the border (the famous Mont-Saint-Michel is just on this border) between Brittany and Normandy. After a 35 minutes car drive you can discover one of the nicest, if not the nicest, part of our so different (architecture, landscape, traditions) neighbor region. This south-west part is a very 'breeding'- and 'fodder-plant'- area, rich in green rolling hills (up to 370m high), springs and clear salmon streams, with scattered typical villages and small farms. Especially the bucolic valley of the 'See' is ideal for rambling. And here, you are already at half-way to the World War II Normandy Landing Beaches.
